Speaker

Emily de Rotstein

Emily de Rotstein
Executive Director, The Society of G.K. Chesterton

Emily de Rotstein serves as Executive Director of the Society of G.K. Chesterton, a Catholic apostolate dedicated to evangelization through education, looking to G.K. Chesterton (1874-1936) as a model of lay spirituality.

Emily served as a founding board member and founding Executive Director of the first Chesterton Academy in Minneapolis. Together with Dale Ahlquist, she helped launch the Chesterton Schools Network, which has grown into the world's fastest-growing network of Catholic classical high schools, with more than 100 schools operating or in development across 10 countries.

Before entering Catholic education, Emily held leadership positions in philanthropy, marketing, and venture-backed technology, including serving as vice president of marketing for a flexible electronic display company she helped spin out of The Dow Chemical Company. Drawing on that experience, she has helped shape the strategy and growth of a movement helping lead the renewal of Catholic education by equipping parents and communities to launch joyful, outstanding high schools rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition. Today, those schools are forming the next generation of joyful leaders and saints.

Emily and her husband, Nes, live in Ave Maria, Florida, and are active members of the Naples Chapter of Legatus and the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
