Walk for Life

The Walk for Life is a family friendly event for everyone! Walkers can raise funds as INDIVIDUALS or set up a TEAM! An INDIVIDUAL WALKER receives one t-shirt for every $150 raised. A TEAM is 5 to 10 friends, family, co-workers, or church small group. TEAMS that raise $1000 - each member will receive a shirt and a shirt for each additional $150 raised.

DROP-OFF TIMES to turn in sponsor forms and money and pick up t-shirts will take place at the center Monday-Thursday during the week prior to the Walk. Prizes will be awarded for the most funds raised in these five categories: Child, Teen, Adult, Team and Overall.  A recognition plaque will be presented to the Top Church. Three PRIZE BASKETS will also be given in their category: Child, Teen and Adult. All walkers who turn in sponsors and raised money will be eligible for the prize basket in their age category.

Walkers will meet at 10:00am on Saturday, February 6th to WALK WITH OTHERS in a 1-mile Walk at Grace Life Baptist Church (around the lake). Or walkers can do a VIRTUAL WALK on their own in their neighborhood, a park, or even in their church parking lot or gym.

After the walk, at 11:00am, we will go live on FACEBOOK (Sav-A-Life Bessemer) and announce our prize winners and total raised! We want all of our Virtual Walkers and friends to watch! 

It will be fun event on a lovely church campus with a children's play area, basketball court, and frisbee golf. Hungry, there will be a food truck! JOIN US!
